Pastor Tom Kyle, went home to be with the Lord this morning. He was a great man with a wonderful sense of humor, an unforgettable laugh and a passion for leading the lost to salvation in Christ. The above photo shows him in the center of a group of people from our congregation, that he is about to baptize in the river, while he was pastor of our church. He and his wife, Mary were missionaries in Brazil for many years, prior to that time.
When my sister Patty passed away in 2003, in Arizona, we had her body flown here to Minnesota for burial, because most of her family is here. Since she no longer had a church home in this area, I called Pastor Tom and asked him if he would consider officiating at her funeral service. He graciously answered, "Of course", even though he'd never met my sister while she was alive. I'll never forget that. He will be greatly missed here on earth, by everyone who was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to know him.
However, if you listen closely, you can almost hear his booming laughter across all of heaven, as he is shown around his new eternal home there. Please keep his wife, Mary and their family and loved ones in your prayers.

Hello! :)
Hello Paul. I'm not sure why you left this comment on my page, but I appreciate your effort to find the lost and lead them to salvation in Christ, just like Pastor Tom did. I read your story a couple of weeks ago, after you commented on one of my previous posts. Fascinating! I would be interested in hearing more about what you are up to these days. Keep blogging...and God Bless you.
We were all so sad at the retreat, Sad for Mary and the girls, and ourselves, but Pastor Tom is where he longed to be!
Can you imagine his first day in heaven? Wow!
He was great! Earth will never be the same!
