Crazy Happenigs ~ And Book Winners announced!

I know I said I would draw names for these books on our anniversary yesterday, but due to some crazy things happening around our town, I got a bit distracted.

Unfortunately, some sick soul decided to plant numerous incendiary devices around town. One at the high school, one at the post office and one at the public utilities building. Apparently, they turned out not to be extremely dangerous, but the person or persons that did this went to great lengths to make them LOOK like they were. Meanwhile, police and fire departments from neighboring counties came to help, two bomb squads were called in, the FBI and the ATF were called in too. It was a little scary...They sent all the school kids home at 9:30AM, and thankfully, no one was injured or anything...but it was definitely a CRAZY day.

Book Winners Update!

I just drew the winner for the book "Dear Mom". And it is...Nicole D! I also need to apologize for not getting the last couple of giveaway books out in a timely manner. They are sitting in my entry way, ready to go...but with not having a vehicle for the past five months...it gets difficult to get them to the post office. I'm so, so sorry! I NEED to remember to send them with my dh tomorrow!!! I will send an email out to Nicole, and if I can get her mailing address yet today, I can send her book along with the rest.

I'm going to start over with this book myself, on Monday. I had attempted to do this a few weeks ago, but the first couple of weeks you're supposed to work on making exercise a part of your daily routine. Since my treadmill is still not working properly, I gave up on that. I have now found a dvd that might just be the ticket. I'll tell y'all more about that at a later date. I also plan on going back to Weight Watchers to weigh in tonight. I haven't been to a meeting since right before Christmas! Hopefully, Ray will have his vehicle home in time for me to go, or I can get my lovely daughter to bring me. I'm crossing my fingers that I am at least back down to my pre-holidays weight by now. I'll let you know how it went tomorrow.
