SPRING AHEAD Saturday!

Don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead tonight, unless of course you live in a part of the world, (AZ for example), where they don't do silly things like changing the time by an hour twice each year, just to confuse people.

Officially, Spring won't begin for a couple of weeks, and we Minnesnowtans know that we won't really experience the season here until at least April or May. However, I have seen a few signs already that SPRING is actually AHEAD in the near future:

  1. My grandson got his bike out of storage the other day, and tried to ride it down the driveway to the mailbox. Unfortunately, it's still a bit slushy and muddy, so he needed a little push from Mom.
  2. We hit 50 degrees here for the first time this year on Thursday. I'm not sure if that was the official high that day, but that's what my thermometer said, and I'm stickin' to it.
  3. I just saw a cute little sqirrel run up the tree, right outside my computer room window.
  4. We now have a small lake at the end of our dirt driveway. (I didn't say they were all good signs).

Not excited about the time change.
spring can come, though. Even though I hate the season of mud and water puddles. I'm ready for the snow to go.

I think it is so silly that we change our clocks twice a year, too! Seriously can't we somehow change that?

Cute picture of Jess and Christian!

I am so excited for spring!
